LOL so funny! Thanks, I needed that :)Bloggers welcome @www.teachitwtihclass.blogspot.com
You made my day! Hilarious!
That was SO funny!!!Kristen
Those turned out so great! I bought the idiom pack last week and can't wait to do it with my students. www.teachinginthecouv.blogspot.com
This is hilarious! I showed it to my husband, who teaches first grade and is going to buy it to use in his class. He was wondering if you do anything else with it besides making the book. The kindergarten teacher in me just wants to make the book for the cuteness factor to see what my thinkers come up with! =)
Thanks everyone! You could also make a bulletin board display. In the packet, I have links to websites that explain the meanings of the idioms. You could go over the real meanings and see how the students did. Someone also emailed me that Scholastic News just did an article on idioms.
I love doing these and seeing what the kids write. I love that you had them illustrate also. Too cute!SavvySecondGraders.blogspot.com
This is so cute! This is my favorite: "People who live in glass houses shouldn't take showers." Hahahaha! I love it! Cute activity, Erica! I may actually be able to use this one with my third graders! :) Yay!Amandahttp://www.oneextradegree.blogspot.com
